New Hampshire is ready to send a message of hope for substance misuse recovery
Individuals in long-term recovery share their stories.
At a forum on July 9, 2015, community members in Concord gathered to discuss the steps required by organizations and families to support the recovery of the many people struggling with addiction in New Hampshire. Current resources include transition support for inmates returning to communities, recovery centers, and supportive family members. Stigma has continually been a barrier to positive steps, but now it is actively being combatted by individuals in long-term recovery sharing their stories.
